I get a
wide variety of emails about Beacons...
here are a few of the comments.
>>Maybe facing the camera away from the sun would give a better picture of the awesome beach......Thanks for having this website ....My aunt and uncle live right across from the parking lot ...That's why I would love a better picture!!! Gotta know when to come visit !!! Lol !!!
I really enjoyed your site. My great grandmother built the cottage at 907 Neptune back in the 40's. My grandparents lived there for many years and I lived there for a total of ten years, part of it while I was at UCSD. We used to hang out at the Old Time Cafe (still know the former owners, Bill and Pearl) and with Scott and Vickie at the Antique Clock Shop. Great times ...
The house is not in the family anymore but we are planning a 50th wedding anniversary for my parents.
By the way, I have an arial photo of Beacons taken probably in the forties, maybe early fifties. Not many houses back then. Would you like me to send you a scan?
Thanks for your help.

>>Hello, If possible I would like to be added to your mailing list for the newsletter. My address is in Richmond, Virginia. I realize I am on the other side of the world, but I have enjoyed your web sight and slide show.<<
Cool website! I was reading some other posts, and HYMIE asked if
you knew about Trey Sapp, but I didn't see any response. Any
news? Trey was my bro up in San Francisco and I'm trying to
reconnect. Any help would be much appreciated.
>>I enjoyed your website&..especially the photo tour of Beacon s to Grandview &.Grandview Sunset III was my favorite. I ll let Kenzie know! (She s a terrific young woman, by the way, as you, no doubt, are well aware!)
>>Can you please add me to your newsletter mailings, etc? I love Beacons, surf it regularly and run in the area alot too. Am particularly interested in the new trail the City is building. ARe the locals OK with the plans thus far? Will there be a seawall?<<
Thanks for the great Beacon's site.
>>Thank you for the update of Beacons Beach from an exiled surfer in Alaska. Cold waves but no crowds!
>>I surf beacons everyday, do you know who I am. I was born at the beach. You are not a local for showing up everyday and parking your yuppie ass at the beach. I am sure that I have snaked you all before and I am sure it will happen in the future as well. Please email me back for I'm interested in what you have to say, If you know who I am I don't care. I drive a red truck and ride a shortboard, do something about me before we all laugh at your fake Local image. This website sucks. Leucadia Locals rule Encinitas.<<
