|My favorite break:||All of the breaks were fun to surf under the right conditions.
Over the years I have seen many a Classic Surf Day at Beacons.
I used to live on Diana Street and it was a walk of just a few minutes to Beacons.
I had many friends who lived on Neptune. Most have moved on now.
I now live in Cardiff and always stop at Beacons to feel the "vibes".
I used to surf a 7'6" Lightning Bolt and a few Nectar Surfboards.
I currently have a heart condition that keeps me in drydock.
But I like watching the younger crew tear it up when it's pumping.
Beacons Beach will always have a special place in my soul!

Wow! I think back on it now and I could write a book on all the great times I had in the Beacons area.
Surf, people, parties, in my day this was the place to be!
|My favorite board or activity at Beacon's:|
is your favorite part of Encinitas?
I love it all! All the space between Carlsbad & Solana Beach is home to me!
Swami's has many memories for me too. Surfed there in 1969!
Lots of great surf days without real bad crowds.
In the old days you could actually camp there overnight!
Yeah from Ponto to Seaside, that was my local surf patrol route.
