|My favorite Beacon's story or memory or observation:|
|I am Taylor Steele's Godfather. Pat his father and I lived in one room behind a health food restaurant that Betty owned. We had an outdoor bathroom and our neighbors were flower workers. You can't do that anymore in North County. It was the 70's and it seemed liked we were living in Hawaii|
part of Encinitas:
I lived in a converted chicken coop right across the street from the steps at gradview. There are condos there now and my buddy lived in a tepee the parking lot was dirt field where I would drive my dirk bike. I could ride my bike along the railroad tracks to my girlfriend's house in Cardiff.
