surfers who surf...
Surf movie reviews by Kenzie:
Blue Crush was an excellent movie on surfer girls. The story is about four girls who surf to live and live to surf. They work as hotel maids. It is very fascinating for anyone whose wanted to surf pipeline on Oahu. The movie states that more deaths have occurred at pipeline than all of the other hot spots combined. So don't watch it and go "Dude! Gnarly Waves! I'm gonna grab my stick and go for it!" It does have some romance to it, so if your totally inclined on surfing, and think Blue Crush is good for you, think twice due to the romance.
||The Endless Summer video - 1966
The definitive surf movie, this 1966 documentary by Bruce Brown is beautifully shot and thrilling to see in its portrait of youthful freedom on the world's shores. Brown followed two surfers around the globe in their quest for the perfect wave, finding it eventually on a remote beach far from home. The narration by "Big Kahuna Brown" is a cult surf classic.
